ABOUT US: The E-Commerce Education Foundation provides educational opportunities and jobs to ANYONE who is willing to work and learn. ECEF also teaches small business owners and their employees how to use the Internet to streamline their business, increase profits and better compete in the global marketplace.

EVERYONE who completes our forty hour course will leave with a new sense of direction and all the tools necessary to become self-sufficient and financially independent. We specialize in picking up where public education left off and transforming socially challenged individuals into productive citizens.

OUR GOAL is to revitalize small towns, help small businesses and improve quality of life for as many people as humanly possible.

F.O.R. PRINCIPLES: The E-Commerce Education Foundation was founded on and utilizes the F.O.R. principles, FREEDOM , OPPORTUNITY and RESPONSIBILITY. We believe and teach our students that everyone can and should have the FREEDOM to work when and where they want and the OPPORTUNITY to make as much money as they deserve. We also teach our students personal RESPONSIBILITY and the importance of providing community service and helping others who are less fortunate or in need of physical and financial assistance.

CONTRIBUTIONS: The E-Commerce Education Foundation graciously accepts contributions of time, money and merchandise that can be used in our classrooms or sold to help students and teachers and expand our services. ECEF is a IRS 501(c) 3 non profit charity and all contributions are 100% tax deductible. E.C.E.F. receives no government funding and provides its services FREE of CHARGE to ANYONE who cannot afford to pay. Our students are expected to attend classes, show up on time and EARN the education they receive.

PUBLIC NOTICE: The E-Commerce Education Foundation leads by example and does not pressure anyone to contribute to our cause. If you choose to help us, you have our word that your money will not be squandered on administrative expenses or lavish fund raisers.

REVISED CURRICULUM FOR 2021

INTRODUCTION:  Get to know each other and determine each student’s needs and expectations – temporary housing – transportation – food – money – etc.

EVALUATION: Observe each student’s personality and determine skill level and how much time will be needed to achieve success

EXPLAIN THE F.O.R. PRINCIPLES: Freedom, Opportunity and Responsibility.

DETERMINE BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS: Ask questions regarding student’s computer skill levels and determine how much time it will take to bring each student up to speed

IMAGERY: Have students take pictures, edit and upload to different websites

ADVERTISING: Determine and explain which advertising venues are best suited for the products and services being marketed.

AD WRITING AND SIGNAGE: Teach student how to write effective ads and explain the importance of signage and embedded imagery

LISTING OPTIONS: Discuss which websites are best suited for the products and services being promoted. Amazon, Ebay, Craig’s List, FaceBook and Available.com

SOCIAL MEDIA OPTIONS: Discuss the pros and cons of using social media

ADVANCED TRAINING: Determine which students have the ability to write computer code and the desire to become programmers, software engineers or IT professionals.

PREPARING A RESUME: Teach each student how to sell themselves by writing a captivating, industry specific resume.

JOB PLACEMENT: Determine which students are natural born entrepreneurs, ready to go out on their own or better suited for a work place environment.

FINANCIAL PLANNING: Explain how to balance a checkbook and the importance of money management, budgeting and long term financial planning
